Job summary

University of Florida's UF/IFAS Extension seeks a statewide Associate Director of County Logistics for County Relations to lead statewide county-government engagement and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities include building relationships with county officials, advising Extension leadership, coordinating with 67 county offices, and delivering governance-focused programs that demonstrate public value across Florida. Extensive travel and executive-level communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a field related to community development, public administration, leadership, education, or organizational development.
• Substantial Cooperative Extension experience with leadership at county, regional, or state level.
• Record appropriate for Extension Agent III/IV or Program Extension Agent III/IV with qualifying accomplishments and statewide recognition.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain productive relationships with county governments, elected officials, and extension partners.
• Represent UF/IFAS Extension in executive-level county discussions and statewide meetings.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate outcomes of educational or organizational initiatives.
• Travel extensively across Florida to engage county partners and stakeholders.
• Provide executive-level consultation and strategic guidance to Extension leadership.
