Responsibilities

As an STNA, you will care for guests under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Responsibilities include:

• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Measuring and recording height and weight, intake and output.
• Caring for the guests’ environment.
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assisting with eating and hydration.
• Observing guests’ skin during care and reporting changes to the licensed nurse; providing skin care as needed.
• Meeting guests’ mental health and social service needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• STNA certification
