Arbors at Stow in Stow, OH is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join a compassionate team. Starting wages range from $20.00 to $23.73 per hour, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for new full-time employees. Shifts available include days (6a-6p) and nights (6p-6a).

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding.
• Assist residents with range of motion exercises and movement to wheelchair.
• Assist resident with turning and positioning in bed and ambulation for short distances.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and monitor intake/output.

Summary: The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) under supervision, provides basic nursing assistance and assists residents with daily living activities.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Licenses/Certification:

Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.

Experience:

Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Job Functions:
