Job summary

Florida Department of Transportation is seeking a State Safety Engineer to lead the State Safety Office, overseeing crash records administration, safety engineering staff, and the Highway Safety Improvement Program.

You will supervise professionals across eight districts, coordinate statewide safety initiatives, and act as a liaison among planning, design, traffic engineering, and operations to advance safety goals and Target Zero.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory experience managing professional and technical staff.
