Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Personal Lines Product Intern for a 12-week summer internship in a hybrid setup, Columbus, OH or Des Moines, IA. You’ll perform data extraction and analysis under supervision, supporting the State Management team and underwriters with pricing, product distribution and claims insights.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in insurance, actuarial science, mathematics, risk management, economics, finance, accounting, business administration or related field preferred.
Strong word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify underlying issues, and present detailed analysis.

Responsibilities

Gathers information from multiple sources to perform analysis.
Analyzes data from various business processes to develop recommendations.
Completes assigned analysis within time and service standards.
Plans completion of assignments to meet timelines and SLAs.
Provides support to internal partners on technical issues as needed.
