Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a State Pre-K Assistant Teacher to support 4-year-olds with individualized care and development in a licensed preschool setting.

You will observe children, plan activities, and communicate with families while following licensing standards. Training on child care and development will be provided, and you will implement engaging curricula in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field.
• Active CDA in Preschool preferred or required.
• Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
• Ability to meet state education requirements for the center.

Responsibilities

• Care for 4-year-olds in accordance with licensing guidelines and grant program requirements.
• Observe, assess, and plan for individual children and communicate with families.
• Complete training on child care, preschool, and development topics.
• Implement curriculum and create engaging, interactive learning experiences.

The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

As an Assistant Teacher, you are:

• Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
