Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Teacher to guide a 4-year-old classroom, ensuring safe daily care and development that aligns with licensing and program requirements.

You will observe, assess, and plan for children's progress, communicating with families and applying curriculum to create engaging learning experiences. Training and credential support are provided as part of our development path.

Qualifications

• Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related or an active CDA in Preschool.
• Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and grant program requirements to ensure daily care of every child in the classroom.
• Develop ability to observe, assess, and plan for children, and effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool and development topics.
• Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.

The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

As an Assistant Teacher, you are:

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $17-19 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.

• Monday-Friday work week
