Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a State Pre-K Assistant Teacher in Melbourne, FL to guide 4-year-olds based on program needs and licensing requirements. We seek change makers who stay curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

As an Assistant Teacher, you will be caring, engaged, knowledgeable, and creative, implementing curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• Active CDA in Preschool or equivalent credential.
• Experience in a licensed childcare center or related setting.
• Able to meet state education and center requirements.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors with children.

Responsibilities

• Instruct 4-year-olds according to program needs and licensing.
• Observe, assess, and plan for individual children and communicate with families.
• Deliver engaging curriculum with fun, interactive learning.

The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.
