Job description

We are seeking a strategic, experienced, and mission-driven State Policy Manager to lead and coordinate state-driven policy efforts in Vermont for a network of community-based organizations providing mental health, substance use, and intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) services. This position plays a critical role in monitoring and influencing administrative policies, enhancing funding and regulatory environments, and helping to shape a sustainable and equitable system of care. The Manager will work closely with the rest of the VCP team, VCP network agencies, state officials, statewide coalitions, and national partners to ensure a responsive, person-centered, and sustainable system of care across Vermont. This is an exciting opportunity for a policy expert who is passionate about advancing community-based services and who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Compensation

  • Salary commensurate with experience starting at $87,000
