Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • 2–5 years of government relations or policy analysis experience.
  • Hands-on policy tracking, bill analysis and research experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor state legislative and regulatory activity and escalate developments.
  • Develop policy scorecards and track progress against objectives.
  • Review legislation and proposals, summarise provisions and implications.
  • Produce updates: trackers, digests, alerts, concise summaries.
  • Prepare internal briefings and policy materials for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to reflect operational context.
  • Respond to background research requests and perform impact analysis.
  • Draft policy-facing materials: one-pagers, talking points, Q&As.
  • Support meetings with policymakers with briefing packs and notes.
  • Track deadlines, hearings, and milestones; maintain records.
