Antora Energy is seeking a state policy lead to shape energy, decarbonization, and industrial policy across several states. You will build relationships with governors’ offices, legislators, and coalitions while advancing regulations that recognize Antora’s technology and siting considerations.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in state energy policy, government affairs or regulatory advocacy.
• Multi-state or regional scope with experience managing travel and lobbyists across several states.
• Proven ownership of complex state policy outcomes with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize and pursue state electrification, industrial and decarbonization policies across multiple states.
• Lead engagement with state energy, storage, and decarbonization policies to secure recognition of Antora's technology.
• Develop and execute state political strategy in project siting states; build relationships with governors' offices, legislators and local officials.
• Pursue state and local incentives; lead SALT strategy for favorable tax treatment.
• Support permitting and siting rule considerations for projects.
• Direct and manage outside lobbyists and consultants across priority states.
• Track and support state policy on large load additions.
• Coordinate with grid/wholesale policy and federal policy colleagues on overlapping issues.
