Job summary

Amazon.com LLC is seeking a seasoned policy advocate to shape AWS public policy across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. You will lead government affairs activities, engage with policymakers and industry groups, and advance cloud infrastructure and AI policy priorities in the region.

The role emphasizes collaboration with AWS teams, cross-functional alignment, and strategic outreach to promote cloud adoption and infrastructure expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Economic Development).
• 7+ years of public policy, government relations, community relations, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing government affairs advocacy objectives and public policy priorities for AWS in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
• Lead advocacy efforts on data center infrastructure policy in Pennsylvania.
• Identify and communicate potential state and local public policy opportunities and threats; develop enhancement or mitigation strategies and policy positions for issues affecting the AWS business; manage and coordinate external advocacy efforts.
