Qualifications

• Must successfully complete a polygraph examination and background investigation (Phase Two, if applicable).
• Must be willing to travel to Virginia State Police Headquarters for Phase Three pre-employment processes (medical/psychological).
• Weight must be in proportion to height on date of hire.
• Must be willing to relocate anywhere in the state per Department needs.
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts, holidays and weekends.
• Must comply with tattoo and body modification policies.
• Must attach a letter requesting rehiring and indicating three locations of choice (Division, Area, Duty Post).
