Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid Pennsylvania non-commercial class C driver’s license or equivalent.
• Must be at least 20 years old and under 40 years old at appointment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving training in the Pennsylvania Crimes Code, Motor Vehicle Code, and other related laws.
• Participating in coursework and practical exercises on search and seizure, investigations, and court testimony.
• Engaging in physical fitness activities and safety training including water safety.
• Receiving training in operating police vehicles and firearms use.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order of quarters, buildings, grounds, and equipment.
