Job summary

The State of Tennessee is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for Henry Horton State Park Lodge in Marshall County, TN. The role includes overseeing facility maintenance, grounds, and related systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations across cabins, restaurants, kitchens, and public spaces.

Responsibilities cover scheduling, budgeting, vendor management, and coordinating with departments to address maintenance needs promptly while upholding state park standards and safety

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in facilities maintenance, construction, HVAC, electrical, or related fields preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in facility maintenance, construction, or operations, including two years of supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a preventative maintenance program for guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and facility systems.
• Monitor recurring maintenance concerns and develop corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, coach, and evaluate maintenance staff in line with policy.
• Create and manage maintenance staff schedules for coverage and labor cost control.
• Develop and manage emergency response and maintenance programs for safe operation of equipment and grounds.
• Ensure compliance with state standards and local, state, and federal codes.
