Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry.
• CPA licenserequired; MST a plus.
• Expert knowledge of individual, partnership and corporate state and local income tax laws.
• Working knowledge of state and local sales and use tax laws.
• Outstanding communication skills and client service mindset.
• Experience coaching and training accounting professionals.

Job Description:

Increased cash flow and a healthier bottom line—Rehmann’sstate and local tax (SALT)teamhelpsclientsachieve both,while effectively managing and reducing risk.

We impact our clientsthrough:

• Review of current operations and exemptions
• Review of current sales tax collection/exemption certificate collection
• Negotiation with state tax authorities to limitassessments
• Penalty waiver applications
• Acquisition target vetting
• Monitoring and navigating legislative changes

Your Desired Skills,** Knowledge **and Abilities:

• 8+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry
