Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a State & Local Tax Intern to deliver tax advisory and compliance services to clients across a coast-to-coast network. You will gain hands-on experience in SALT issues, conduct research, and prepare memoranda while collaborating with seasoned professionals who value your development.

The role includes participation in orientation and training programs, exposure to real client engagements, and a clear path toward potentially joining Baker Tilly as a full-time associate

Qualifications

• Pursuing accounting or related business degree; at least one term remaining.
• On track to CPA eligibility and/or Bar exam before full-time start.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tax advisory and compliance services to clients in SALT.
• Assist with research and memorandum on SALT issues for individuals, corporations, and flow-through entities.
• Support in due diligence, voluntary disclosure programs, and various compliance matters.
• Participate in intern orientation and technical training to contribute to client engagements.
