Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file state/local annual reports, business licenses, and registrations
• Research and analyze SALT regulations and rulings across various jurisdictions
• Assist with nexus studies and monitor SALT legislative changes
• Support audits by compiling documentation and drafting responses
• Implement and maintain sales and use tax software integrated with ERP systems
• Manage customer exemption certificates and sales/use tax filings (multi-state and VAT)
• Support consumer use tax and tangible personal property tax reporting
• Provide guidance on vendor setup for 1099 and 1042-S reporting and backup withholding
• Work with AR on accurate sales tax jurisdiction setup for new customers
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations to improve processes and resolve tax issues
• Contribute to ad hoc accounting and tax projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred)
• 1–3+ years of SALT experience in public accounting or corporate tax
• Proficient with tax software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
