Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform state-mandated safety and emissions inspections on passenger vehicles and light trucks.
• Conduct visual and functional checks of brakes, lights, tires, suspension, and exhaust.
• Operate emissions testing equipment to assess compliance with environmental regulations.
• Identify and report safety issues or emissions failures; complete inspection reports timely.
• Reset OBD systems and clear codes as needed post-inspection or repair.
• Assist senior technicians with basic maintenance and repair tasks.
