C. Harper Auto Group in Belle Vernon, PA is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our growing team. You will perform repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a wide range of automotive systems, ensuring quality and efficiency in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, HS diploma, and Ford/KIA knowledge, with certifications preferred. You will work closely with the Service Advisor, mentor junior techs, and uphold safety and customer service

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Brand certifications preferred.
• A-level qualifications include advanced diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair expertise.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform complex repairs and troubleshooting tasks.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic dealership software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy per dealership standards.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures using advanced tools and equipment.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify operation and identify further issues.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, fuel systems, and more.
• Execute complex repairs involving electrical and mechanical systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about repairs and time estimates.
• Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications.
• Mentor junior technicians and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Stay current with automotive technology and repair techniques.
• Document all repairs promptly and accurately.
