The State of Delaware seeks a Supervisory State Human Resource Supervisor in the Central Compensation section to oversee statewide compensation functions, supervise HR analysts, and guide staff and agency officials in applying compensation laws and policies.
You will lead meetings, perform data analysis, ensure compliance with Merit Rules, FLSA/EEO, and related laws, and collaborate with HR partners to ensure consistent policy application across departments.
This supervisory level position is part of the Central Compensation section & is responsible for assisting in overseeing statewide compensation functions. An important aspect of the role would involve supervision and the training/development of human resource analysts. In addition, this position will assist in the review of work related to pay requests, salary analyses & compensation special projects, all while ensuring compliance with Merit Rules, FLSA/EEO, and other applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. This position will independently lead meetings/conference calls & provide guidance to staff, state agency officials, and HR Business Partners in interpreting and applying laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and assuring consistency across departments in policy application.

Work often involves review, evaluation, consultation, and recommendations of specific courses of action to be taken, through collaboration with employees, supervisors, managers, and others, and in compliance with human resource laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
