Job summary

The worker will operate and service highway maintenance equipment requiring a Class C license, perform labor-intensive tasks related to landscape and highway maintenance, and comply with safety training and department standards.

Qualifications

• CDL required (valid in CA) and Class C license as applicable.
• Drug screening before hire.
• Background investigation before hire.
• Provide CDL number, class, expiration date, endorsements/restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and service highway maintenance equipment.
• Perform labor-intensive work related to landscape and highway/bridge maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge of safety training and standards and comply with departmental requirements.
