Corning Incorporated is seeking a Senior State Government Affairs professional to lead policy engagement for Texas and Arizona. You will develop and advocate policy positions, monitor regulatory activity, and engage officials and stakeholders to advance Corning’s business priorities.

This role reports to the Senior Director of US State Government Affairs and requires close collaboration with business leaders and site leadership.

Competenze

Bachelor’s Degree required.
10+ years of progressively responsible roles in corporate, government or non-profit government affairs.
Knowledge of Texas and/or Arizona state government and key institutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Mansioni

Represent company interests with trade, industry, and professional organizations.
Prepare briefings and meetings for internal and external stakeholders.
Develop coalitions to support Corning’s policy agenda in Texas and Arizona.
Build relationships with state and local economic development, workforce, energy, infrastructure, and regulatory stakeholders.
Develop and execute state and local legislative strategies in Texas and Arizona.
Advocate for the company’s positions to elected and career government officials.
Monitor policy developments affecting Corning operations and investments.
Travel approximately 50% within Texas and Arizona, and occasionally to other locations.
