Job summary

Responsibilities

• Administrative and Strategic Management: Develops, implements, communicates, and monitors strategic plan.
• Agency Leadership: Manages and leads all activities of the Office of the State Fire Marshal, including engineering services, fire prevention, code enforcement, investigations, public education, and data analysis.
• Inter-Agency Coordination: Liaises with other state agencies to ensure compliance with codes and statutes.
• Public Education and Community Outreach: Develops and delivers fire safety education programs for the public and stakeholders.
• Training: Ensures training requirements and supervisory components are met as per law.
