Job summary

SADD Alabama is seeking a State Coordinator to lead chapter development and program delivery across Alabama, with remote work and strong on-the-ground field presence. This full-time, exempt role reports to the Director of Field Engagement and requires travel.

Expected responsibilities include recruiting chapters, training advisors, coordinating virtual and in-person meetings, and ensuring grant-aligned outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in youth programs, community-based prevention, or nonprofit coordination.
• Ability to travel 25–50% of time and manage field schedules independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow SADD chapters across the state, ensuring engagement and alignment with state and national initiatives.
• Train and support chapter advisors and student leaders; provide onboarding and ongoing assistance.
• Conduct virtual and in-person meetings, trainings, and presentations in schools and community settings.
• Build partnerships with schools, coalitions, and law enforcement; represent SADD at events and conferences.
• Collect and report data on chapter activity and outcomes to grant funders.
