Qualifications

• BA degree or higher with progressive people leadership.
• Experience managing a geographically dispersed team of staff and volunteers.
• Proven ability to lead advocacy, outreach, communications and budget functions.

Responsabilités

• Develops a state-specific strategic vision for NY, mobilizes staff and volunteers to execute it.
• Directs advocacy strategies at local, state, and federal levels and partners with internal/external teams.
• Oversees communications strategies to raise visibility with members, lawmakers and the public.
• Leads engagement strategies and builds community partnerships across geographies and issue areas.
• Manages the state office budget and organizational risk, ensuring policy compliance.
• Directs volunteer teams, recruitment, engagement and recognition.
• Provides leadership and staff development to sustain a high-performing state office.
