Qualifications

Two years of professional, post-bachelor’s experience licensing child day care homes or centers, or related roles.
Experience with enforcement actions, investigations, and reporting in licensing settings.

Responsibilities

License child care organizations within a specified geographic area through inspections.
Investigate complaints and provide technical assistance to applicants/licensees.
Initiate enforcement action and testify in hearings as needed.
Consult with law enforcement, fire safety inspectors, and protective services professionals.
Prepare detailed inspection and investigation reports; maintain confidentiality.
