Cozen O'Connor is seeking a talented and motivated associate to join its nationally recognized State Attorneys General Practice. The position can be resident in Washington, DC, Richmond or New York. This position is ideal for an attorney with 2 to 4 years of litigation experience who is looking to develop a sophisticated practice at the intersection of law, public policy, and government enforcement.

The successful candidate will have experience handling a broad range of litigation responsibilities, including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, and responding to complex discovery requests. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented attorney with strong analytical and writing skills, excellent academic credentials, and a genuine interest in learning and growing within the State Attorneys General arena. Experience with e-discovery tools and processes is preferred. Trial and oral argument experience are not required.

The salary range for this role is $225,000 - $265,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location
