Job summary

Henderson Engineers in Las Vegas is seeking a Commissioning Technician (Start-Up Refrigeration) to support field startup of commercial refrigeration systems. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or significant experience, strong communication skills, and ability to travel extensively. The role involves system startup, testing, and troubleshooting, while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of engineering or 4+ years of experience.
• Commissioning certification preferred.
• Experience commissioning ammonia (NH3) and/or CO2 refrigeration systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support field startup, testing, and troubleshooting of refrigeration systems.
• Generate checklists and tests for equipment.
• Perform testing, adjusting and balancing tasks.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Commissioning certification (NEBB TAB Tech or Cx Tech)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of engineering

High School Diploma or GED
