super{set} is seeking a practical, hands-on Legal Counsel to support its growth—focusing on day-to-day corporate and commercial matters across the portfolio.

You’ll partner with founders, investors, and external advisors to improve workflows, templates, and processes while exercising strong business judgment and maintaining practical risk management. This role thrives when you stay close to the business and deliver tangible impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of legal experience, with in-house startup exposure preferred.
• Ability to independently handle routine-to-moderate corporate and commercial matters.
• Strong business judgment and practical, business-oriented approach to risk.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate formations, governance, and ongoing housekeeping for super{set} and portfolio.
• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, employment, vendor, and customer agreements; improve templates.
• Support fundraising, financing, and diligence across the portfolio; coordinate with investors and outside counsel.
• Administer founder equity, option pools, grants, vesting, and cap table matters.
• Provide privacy, data, and AI-related legal support for portfolio companies; escalate higher-risk issues.
• Coordinate external advisory on tax, funds, and compliance; support audits and investor reporting.
• Turn recurring legal work into templates, processes, and playbooks; keep records organized.
• Help teams move contracts and corporate matters toward completion with speed and judgment.
