Job summary

super{set} is seeking a practical, hands‑on Legal Counsel to support day‑to‑day corporate and commercial legal work across its portfolio. You will independently handle routine-to-moderate matters, collaborate with founders, investors, and external advisors, and help create a more efficient legal function while working closely with the business.

This role emphasizes practical problem solving and ownership, with senior counsel handling higher‑risk issues.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of legal experience in corporate and commercial matters.
• In-house startup/ venture experience preferred.
• Ability to independently handle routine-to-moderate contracts.
• Strong judgment to distinguish issues to escalate.
• Experience supporting financings, equity, governance and related matters.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate formations, governance, and housekeeping across the portfolio.
• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, employee, vendor, customer contracts.
• Maintain templates, playbooks, and standard documents for efficiency.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on specialized matters.
• Assist with equity administration and cap table records.
• Provide privacy, data, and AI‑related legal support to portfolio companies.
• Support fund, tax, and compliance matters with external advisors.
• Keep legal workflows organized and moving toward completion.
