Job summary

Amazon is seeking a startup-focused technical advisor to work directly with founders on scalable GenAI architectures and production-ready AI products. You will help navigate fast-moving AI landscapes, manage costs and latency, and build foundational data capabilities while fostering strong relationships across accelerators and VC partners.

You will also contribute technical content, share knowledge at events, and help shape the tools and services used by early-stage startups navigating cloud

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas experience including software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate architectures with founders to scale as they grow
• Navigate the GenAI landscape: foundation models, AI services, production-ready AI products
• Guide startups through costs, latency, accuracy, safety, and best practices in GenAI
• Help build data foundations for AI products: vector databases, data pipelines, RAG, fine-tuning workflows
• Build relationships within the startup ecosystem with accelerators and VC firms
• Channel founder feedback to product and engineering teams to shape tools
• Create technical content for startups: blog posts, reference architectures, sample code
• Speak at startup events, demo days, and developer meetups to build trust
