Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks an experienced Startup Electrical Lead for a simple cycle gas turbine project in Pecos, Texas. The role may start in Reston, VA to support planning and mobility to the field for a long-term assignment on-site.

You will manage electrical commissioning, lead engineers, and coordinate with other disciplines to achieve startup and initial operation milestones, while aligning with Bechtel's policies and project controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience delivering large-scale power generation projects beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical commissioning activities for the project.
• Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, and control teams.
• Develop and execute energization and synchronization procedures.
• Manage vendor technical advisors and subcontractors.
• Ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and Bechtel procedures.
• Provide input to system descriptions and operation manuals.
