Job summary

Portland State University is seeking a PSBA Program Manager to drive a one-year startup acceleration and project coaching model, supporting PSU ventures and translational research initiatives.

Working under the Director, you will manage day-to-day cohort operations, lead founder check-ins, and help craft investor pitch decks, market sizing analyses, and outreach scripts to accelerate investment and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience in program management or business development.
• Experience coordinating milestones and engaging stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration with university partners.

Responsibilities

• Coach founders and manage day-to-day venture support and milestone tracking.
• Ensure target benchmarks such as grant applications and VC engagements.
• Develop commercialization materials (pitch decks, market sizing, financial models).
• Coordinate cohort programming, workshops and investor-related events.
• Collaborate with PSU leadership to align program goals with university resources.
