Job summary

McDonald’s franchise restaurant is seeking a Maintenance/Janitorial Person to support interior and exterior cleanliness and equipment care. The role includes daily cleaning, ground upkeep, and basic facility maintenance in a fast-food setting.

The candidate must be able to lift at least 20 lbs, work early hours, and follow safety practices. Uniforms are provided in part, and employee meals are included; a positive attitude and reliability are valued.

Responsibilities

• Filter oil fryers daily.
• Maintain outside grounds.

• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week (lift 20 lbs).
• Take out and empty trash, keep area clean.
• Change light bulbs.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof debris.

Requirements

The Maintenance /Janitorial Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, baseboards, all floors, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week. (You must be able to lift at least 20 lbs) (Delivery times are usually as early as 4AM)
• Take out and empty trash compactor & keeping area clean
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
