Job summary

McDonald's is seeking a Maintenance Person to join the team at a corporate-owned restaurant in Warrenton, VA. The role focuses on keeping the restaurant clean and well-maintained, both inside and outside, with daily fryer filtration and routine equipment upkeep.

You will assist with unloading deliveries, trash management, bulb changes, and cleaning HVAC units and roof debris. This is a hands-on maintenance position in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine cleaning and maintenance in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely handle trash and unload deliveries as needed.
• Comfort with basic facilities maintenance tasks (bulbs, windows, restrooms).

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the restaurant.
• Filter fryers daily and clean equipment.
• Unload deliveries 2 times a week; manage trash and waste.
• Change light bulbs and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Clean HVAC/exhaust units and roof debris.

Requirements

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
