Job summary

Ron Jaworski's Downingtown Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic Starter/Ranger for the seasonal period. You will manage the flow of play from the first tee to the 18th, greet players, and ensure smooth operations on the tee sheet.

Enjoy stunning course views while supporting a friendly, team-oriented staff. As part of the role, you will learn and enforce course rules, assist Pro Shop communications, and take part in ongoing country club training.

Responsibilities

• Greet players with hospitality upon arrival.
• Log tee sheet details: names, carts, start/finish times, pace of play notes.
• Maintain radio contact with Pro Shop.
• Enforce club policies including dress code and cart rules.
• Educate players on cart rules, etiquette, and pace of play.

Do you enjoy golf and being outdoors? Ron Jaworski's Downingtown Country Club is looking for an enthusiastic Starter/Ranger to join our growing team!

Make money doing what you love! Spend your day on our beautiful 18 hole course managing the orderly flow of play from the first tee to the 18th.

If you love the sport just as much as we do, you're going to love this! If you're a member of our team, you are eligible to play golf at no cost, and that's a great perk!

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greeted all players upon arrival with hospitality and goodwill.
• Logged all necessary details on the tee sheet, including player names, cart numbers, actual start/finish times, and noting slow groups.
• Maintained constant radio contact with the Pro Shop
• Enforced all club policies, including the dress code and cart rules (two riders/ two bags per cart, max four players per group)
• Educated players on daily cart rules, course etiquette (divot, ball marks, raking bunkers), and pace of play standards (keeping up with the group ahead).
• Inspected all carts prior to play for cleanliness and damage.
• Keep that professional look sharp
• Team up with Pro Shop Staff for epic golf tournaments
• Back up all course policies like a true champ
• Ready to roll up your sleeves for any other tasks thrown your way
