Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Integration Engineer for Starship to establish requirements and develop tooling for at-rate production, focusing on avionics, propulsion, and structures. You will work with design engineering and technician teams daily to influence vehicle architecture with reliability and manufacturability in mind.

The role involves designing tooling, automating processes, and ensuring cycle-time targets are met while developing manufacturing requirements for flight hardware build.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 1+ years hands-on engineering experience (design teams or internships qualify).
• Master's degree in engineering is preferred.
• Experience with GD&T concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute build, integration, and validation of flight hardware to production requirements.
• Design and implement tooling solutions to eliminate assembly errors and accelerate build.
• Automate processes to ensure repeatability on a large-scale production line.
• Verify subsystem work center meets cycle time requirements or drive design changes to meet targets.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing requirements for Starship and Super Heavy Booster processes.
