Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Texas is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to support Starship production at the Boca Chica site. You will perform repairs and preventative maintenance on diverse equipment including diesel engines, SPMTs, cranes and other automation systems to keep production moving in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years of maintenance technician experience
• 3+ years of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and/or electrical repair

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all fleet assets to ensure their proper operating condition
• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on various complex automation systems for transport systems
• Troubleshoot and repair control & electrical system failures involving PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, servo amplifiers, I/O, and sensors
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems – actuators, valves, pumps, filters
• Troubleshoot and repair automated tool mechanical systems – ballscrews, linear rails, guideways, gearboxes, 3 phase motors
• Drive forklifts and company vehicles
• Perform other related duties to ensure an efficient and effective work environment
