Job summary

2020 Companies, in partnership with Starlink, are hiring part-time Retail Sales & Activation Specialists in Midland, TX to promote Starlink services. You’ll demonstrate products, answer questions, and guide customers to the best solution while delivering an engaging shopping experience.

Earn $20/hr base with up to $2/hr bonus, totalling up to $22/hr. Schedule is 16-20 hours per week, primarily Friday to Sunday, with training provided and opportunities for program advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months of sales/retail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Available to work weekends.
• Own a smartphone with iOS or Android.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and demonstrate Starlink services to meet needs.
• Build trust and drive sales by understanding customer requirements.
• Be a brand ally representing Starlink and 2020 Companies.
• Hit sales targets and contribute to team success.
• Be a team player, sharing knowledge with staff.
• Track interactions and submit daily reports via mobile device.
• Maintain a consistent weekend schedule (Fri–Sun).
• Foster positive relationships with partner stores.

Overview:

2020 Companies, in partnership with our client, Starlink, are now hiring part-time Retail Sales & Activation Specialists!

Pay: $20/hr. base pay

Bonus: Up to $2/hr. performance bonus

Total: Up to $22/hr. earning potential

Schedule: 16-20 hours per week - Friday to Sunday availability required

About the Role:

In this exciting role, you’ll work closely with retail shoppers to recommend the perfect Starlink residential and mobile internet products to meet their unique needs. You’ll be the subject matter expert for customers seeking information on Starlink’s services, ensuring they have an interactive and informative shopping experience. Building relationships within a retail environment and having a technology-first mindset are key as you explain the benefits of Starlink satellite internet. Our team fully provides all technology training.

Job Description:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• A minimum of six months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing is preferred
• The ability to engage, demonstrate, and engage customers in the sales process is necessary
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential
• Impeccable integrity and a genuine commitment to exceeding customer expectations are crucial
• Thrive in a fast-paced team environment
• Availability to work weekends
• Own a smartphone with the current Apple iOS software or current Android software
• Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled visits
