Job summary

2020 Companies is hiring a part-time Retail Sales & Activation Specialist in Lexington, KY to promote Starlink residential and mobile internet products. Expect a 16-20 hour workweek with Friday to Sunday availability, 7/27/26 through 11/01/26.

You will learn Starlink products and provide an interactive shopping experience, with full training provided. The role emphasizes customer engagement, product demonstrations, and building relationships in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing preferred.
• Ability to engage, demonstrate, and involve customers in the sales process is necessary.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Overview:

2020 Companies, in partnership with our client, Starlink, are now hiring part-time Retail Sales & Activation Specialists!

Pay:

$17/hr. base pay

Bonus:

Up to $4/hr. performance bonus

Total:

Up to $21/hr. earning potential

Schedule:

16-20 hours per week - Friday to Sunday availability required

About the Role:

In this exciting role, you'll work closely with retail shoppers to recommend the perfect Starlink residential and mobile internet products to meet their unique needs. You'll be the subject matter expert for customers seeking information on Starlink's services, ensuring they have an interactive and informative shopping experience. Building relationships within a retail environment and having a technology-first mindset are key as you explain the benefits of Starlink satellite internet. Our team fully provides all technology training.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Impeccable integrity and a genuine commitment to exceeding customer expectations are crucial
• Thrive in a fast-paced team environment
• Availability to work weekends
• Own a smartphone with the current Apple iOS software or current Android software
• Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled visits
