Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Product Development Engineer to drive design, production, and launch of Starlink products. You will own products from conception to international rollout, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure manufacturability and customer alignment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or physics, plus 2+ years leading engineering projects. Expect cross-functional teamwork, fast-paced environment, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Own a product from design to launch – define roadmap, ensure manufacturability, and drive international launches.
  • Serve as key technical contact to ensure production targets and successful launches.
  • Coordinate with business, UX, and engineering teams during NPI to meet business needs.
  • Translate product strategies into business requirements and technical deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement via market research, data analysis, and beta testing campaigns.
  • Support engineering failure analysis and root cause investigation during initial roll-out and early production.
  • Motivate and support peers to achieve program goals.
  • Prepare updates & deliverables to senior management.
