Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Assembly Engineering Specialist for Starlink to help scale manufacturing and testing processes for a high-volume consumer terminal product. You will work across centers to implement new product introductions, program automated equipment, and drive quality and yield improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency with 2+ years hands-on manufacturing experience or
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math or science.
• Experience with hardware assembly and manufacturing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute new product introduction builds across all work centers.
• Program, load, and operate automated equipment.
• Triage non-conforming products and drive corrective actions.
• Resolve production issues while maintaining design integrity and timelines.
• Perform process development and validation on new models under tight timelines.
• Ensure smooth transition from development to volume production.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance and cost.
• Define maintenance schedules and support activities.
