What You’ll Do

As the General Manager of a QSR, you will manage daily operations and profitability of a food and beverage concept inside a travel plaza. You will lead a team to meet or exceed financial and performance goals.

  • Lead daily activities of associates and managers to achieve sales, service, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food safety goals.
  • Maintain budgets, inventory, food and labor costs, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and food safety regulations.
  • Foster a culture of learning, development, and recognition.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a strong team.
  • Handle hiring, coaching, training, and disciplinary actions.
  • Monitor cash handling and ensure policy compliance.
  • Address customer issues professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborate with support partners and maintain community relationships.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team management, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Judgment and discretion in resolving issues.
  • Proven growth and customer satisfaction improvement.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • ServSafe Certification preferred.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in a QSR.
  • Flexible, on-site schedule (~50 hours/week), including nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift at least 20 pounds.
  • Occasional travel or meetings as needed.
