Job Title: Communications Associate Manager

Job Responsibilities
As a communications associate manager, you will manage and elevate creative output across multiple media platforms, partnering with cross‑functional teams to support Starbucks Mission and Values.
- Create visual and written materials for internal and external audiences across modernized web and media channels.
- Collaborate with the arrangement lead to elevate creative communications and manage deliverables.
- Work closely with visual craftsmen to develop cohesive brand visuals.
- Coordinate with business activities creators to scope, track milestones, and meet deadlines.
- Champion the creative methodology from concept to final output for projects of varying scope.
- Understand and support key Starbucks trade areas– Assistant Experience, Client Experience, Business Improvement, and Mission and Coffee.
- Develop strategic plans that drive brand consistency, KPI achievement, and campaign effectiveness.
- Translate creative analysis into actionable work, adapting flexibly to changes.
- Participate in creative discussions, decks, and briefings across Open Issues.
- Maintain inspiration and monitor brand assets and external examples.
- Communicate effectively with Starbucks associates, fostering appreciation and engagement.
Qualifications
- Long‑term advanced degree in Media, Communications, Design, or comparable UX/Design field.
- 2+ years of experience in a creative agency or in‑house communications team.
- 2+ years’ experience supporting visual content and storytelling.
- 2+ years’ experience in producing a variety of visual assets.
- Proficient in design principles across branding, layout, and typography.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating planning, video, production, and graphics skill set.
- Fundamental understanding of corporate communications tone, voice, and style.
- Excellent critical, collaborative, and communication skills.
- Strong time management amid rapidly evolving priorities and approaches.
- Proficient in MacOS, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Experience in corporate communications, marketing, or social impact for a major brand or non‑profit.
- Proficient in social media platforms, specifications, and storytelling.
- Experience with photo/film shoots, pre‑production, and production workflows.
- Prior Starbucks experience (preferred).
