Job Title

Starbucks Barista

Starting Hourly Rate

$15.75 USD per hour

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, connecting with guests to deliver quality handcrafted beverages and food during all hours of operations.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food and Beverage Standards, all Starbucks brand standards and food safety standards.
• Execute food and beverage processes, including deliveries, replenishment, pulls, stocking, zoning, inventory accuracy, rotation, cleaning, defect, signing, and backstock.
• Maintain awareness of all promotional activities within Starbucks.
• Follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent Starbucks experience while driving efficiency and maintaining food safety.
• Support the Starbucks Drive‑Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Maintain an inviting dining area for guests all day, every day.
• Engage with guests to exceed expectations, asking questions to better understand their needs.
• Produce items to specifications on production cards and follow specific department routines.
• Monitor and record temperature‑sensitive food items.
• Complete all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space.
• Follow proper packaging, labeling, and food safety guidelines.
• Locate and process damaged, recalled, or expired items.
• Ensure accurate in‑stocks by placing store‑initiated orders.
• Follow perishable inventory procedures and sampling best practices.
• Welcome guests and provide a brand‑aligned greeting.
• Conduct daily compliance checks with federal, state, and local laws.
• Support other guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up, and Drive‑Up.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Climb ladders and move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely.
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 34°F to -10°F.
• Work safely in environments with allergens and varying temperatures/humidity.
• Maintain mobile capability for the duration of a shift.
