• Previous comparable experience preferred

Responsibilities include:

• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions about products sold within the department and store
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products within the department to respond to questions and make suggestions
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals
• Prepare beverages according to recipes and standards, using proper equipment; handle transactions following best practices
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items and inform them of specials
• Provide customers with ordered products, ensuring correct portion sizes to prevent shrinkage
• Recommend coffee shop items to ensure customer satisfaction
• Use equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens, and coffee machines following safety guidelines
• Label, stock, and inventory merchandise; report discrepancies to management
• Maintain current knowledge of promotions and advertisements
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations
• Perform preventive maintenance and report equipment issues
• Report safety risks, incidents, or illegal activities to management
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity
• Assist and support customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults

Salary Range: $18.25 - $24.61 per hour
