Job Description

Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to ensure the customer's return visit. Treat customers and employees in a fair and ethical manner, promote an inclusive work environment, be a responsible community member, and provide the right products at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

1. Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products and store services.
2. Maintain and apply knowledge of store products to assist customers effectively.
3. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
4. Prepare beverages according to recipes and customer requests, using proper equipment.
5. Offer samples and inform customers about specials to enhance their experience.
6. Ensure products are fresh, properly portioned, and inventory is managed.
7. Use all coffee shop equipment safely and correctly, including refrigerators, ovens, and espresso machines.
8. Label, stock, and inventory merchandise accurately.
9. Report discrepancies and safety issues promptly to management.
10. Adhere to safety and food safety regulations, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
11. Handle customer and employee accidents appropriately and report safety risks or illegal activities.
12. Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
13. Act with honesty and integrity, follow directions, and seek assistance when needed.
14. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
15. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
