Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to ensure the customer's return visit. Responsibilities include:

  • Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products and store services.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and make suggestions to customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
  • Prepare beverages according to recipes and customer requests, and process transactions following best practices.
  • Offer samples and inform customers about specials.
  • Provide fresh products ordered by customers, ensuring proper portion sizes to prevent shrinkage.
  • Recommend products to meet customer needs.
  • Use all coffee shop equipment safely and correctly, including refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens, espresso machines, blenders, and scales.
  • Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
  • Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping.
  • Stay updated on store promotions and advertisements.
  • Follow safety procedures, identify hazards, and report unsafe conditions.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and report equipment issues.
  • Report accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities to management.
  • Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
  • Support and assist vulnerable populations, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
