Minimum requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous comparable experience
  • Create a welcoming environment by answering questions about products and assisting customers throughout the store.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and make recommendations.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
  • Prepare beverages according to recipes and standards, using proper equipment; handle transactions professionally.
  • Offer samples and inform customers of specials.
  • Ensure products are fresh, properly portioned, and stocked.
  • Use equipment correctly, including refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens, espresso machines, blenders, and scales.
  • Label, stock, and inventory merchandise; report discrepancies.
  • Stay informed about current promotions and advertisements.
  • Follow safety procedures, maintain food safety standards, and report hazards or incidents promptly.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and report repairs needed.
  • Assist customers with special needs and act with integrity and honesty.
  • Follow directions and seek help when needed to resolve issues.
  • Support safety by reporting accidents, risks, or illegal activities.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts cooperatively.
